Blizzard Boyfriend – Winter Storm Juno or Asteroid Juno

Juno is the Roman Goddess of marriage and childbirth. In Astrology Juno, the asteroid, is the Key to Marriage, Intimacy and Partnership. Now we have Juno the Snowmageddon Storm of 2015.

Since it is 2015 those in need of love and psychical warmth are turning to the Internet for hook ups. Not at all what astrologers would say Juno represents – “flighty love affairs” but maybe these brave (or totally crazy) individuals will get intimate and form major partnerships.

Or maybe it really depends on what their own Juno is doing in their astrological chart; of course a storm being named Juno is not enough. But I’ve never seen so much need for intimacy during an emergency situation! And I do think there’s power in a name.

Transiting Juno (or Juno currently in the sky) is making a fire trine to Uranus (rules the internet) and Pallas. Pallas is another asteroid, the goddess of Creative Intelligence. She has the ability to link, unify and bring together. Pallas has great perceptual skills for planning and public relations. So just maybe Juno Storm and Juno asteroid are connected!

No matter what your thoughts are on online dating or hook ups (this girl is not a fan). Emergency storm hook ups are certainly better then complete panic or store looting.

God’s Eye in the Sky! January 4th/5th Full Moon

Happy 2015! To me it feels like the old/new vibe that happens around new years is being extended by this Full Moon in Cancer. It’s a treat (though it may not feel that way) to have extra time to figure out what needs to be cut from your current lifestyle and self. Of course this full moon is powerful. It’s part of a Grand Cardinal Cross (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) it being in Cancer means letting go of emotional crap and attachments of the past. There is much more going on with this moon – it trines Chiron (the wounded healer), it’s opposite Pluto and the Sun, and conjunct Sirius, the dogstar. There’s also a T square between Uranus, Pluto and the nodes.

There’s a strong pull to go into old patterns and karmic gunk while there’s also great astro support to get beyond the past and useless habits. With Chiron and Sirius in the mix you can plug into their energy and take the higher road, even connect to a more elevated consciousness.

Being a visual person I was immediately struck by the image of this full moon – it looks just like a God’s Eye or Ojo de Dios! A crafty symbol that I actually love to make and collect!!! The Ojo de Dios is a ritual tool, magical object and cultural symbol associated with the Huichol Indians of western Mexico. It can also be found in the pueblos of New Mexico. The Indians believe that the eye has the power to heal, protect, and to see and understand unknown things. Cool!

I think this full moon it would be beneficial to visualize being the eye – standing in the center, grounded and seeing it all. Letting go of the emotions, the past, embracing change, knowing you can only control yourself, accepting new power, truly leading the way – your way.

How to Reclaim Your Space & Self After a Break Up

Let’s face it breaking up sucks! It’s change and it’s unsettling, nerve wracking, paralyzing at times but you’ve got to clear out old vibes! Welcome new clearer space = clear head & heart. It’s a loss – grieve and clear the ways!

First admit however much the pain hurts (and it sucks I know), so does picking up dirty socks, tripping over randomly thrown shoes and baffling mass breeding whisker hairs in the bathroom! You have just freed up time and energy to do what you want when you want. Invite whomever you like whenever! Wear whatever you want, buy whatever you want, BE whatever you want. No matter what it seems we sacrifice and recalibrate ourselves especially when we want so much for it to work out.

First remove all of your ex’s belongings. Don’t play the “what if” game… if I keep this here, if I don’t move this at all maybe…. NO! What was didn’t work and you don’t want that same thing always. Pack that shit up stat! Do your best to lovingly remove your ex’s remains. The more love and less detachment the better.

Clean out old vibes! Blast your favorite music, burn a white cleansing candle and sage (or my new fav Palo Santo/Holy wood, thanks to my sista Shari!) and do a major deep cleaning (especially in the bedroom). Remove any items or decor that have always bothered you. Replace with stuff that makes you happy or make the space more bare, peaceful. You will in time find your new prefect things to blend in. Enjoy the deep breath of cleansing and owning your “new” space.

Find and bring home new friends – crystals! My top favorite pals for this party are-rose quartz, garnets, Pink Lemurian Seed, Pink Manganocalcite, Rhodonite, emeralds…

I find it’s best to pick whatever stones you’re drawn to. Try to relax and use your intuition. I suggest creating a collection and placing them in a beautiful bowl on your nightstand. You can also put some in a pouch and sleep with them under your pillow or bed. Make sure to purify your new stones before using them and at every full moon. To do this you can burn sage and allow the smoke to touch the stones then to rejuvenate them place the stones in the sun or moon light.

More to come on this awkward uncomfortable crappy process!
